Media accreditation

You can pick up your media accreditation at the Media Welcome Desk in the Press Centre situated at gate F4 of the Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarena. You enter the Arena at gate F1 where the volunteers/securitys will let through all journalists who are on the accredited list after checking their press card / ID. From gate F1 it’s about 150 metres to F4. There will be a security check before reaching the Welcome Desk where your accreditation will be waiting for you.

Official media hotel and shuttle bus

Hotel Hungaria City Center is the official media hotel. The LOC will provide free shuttle buses for accredited media, but only for those who are lodging at the official media hotel.  Those arriving by the shuttle bus will also get down at gate F1. The schedule of the shuttle bus will be available at the hotel, for the first time when travelling with the bus you have to show your press card/ID, after that accreditation will be enough to travel. Mediaparking

You can use the free media parking lots at BOK (Syma Csarnok). Before picking up your accreditation, you have access upon showing your press card/ID, later on with your accreditation and media parking car. From the media parking lot you walk to gate F1 of the Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarena from where you follow the directions above.  

Press Center

Press tribune and press center will ensure consistent information to all media representatives and support their work.
The press center will be equipped with printers, photocopiers, scanners, Internet connection (cables and wifi) and laptops.
