In November, the European Gymnastics visited Hungary to ensure the perfect implementation of this high priority event. On the occasion of the 2024 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, the European federation held talks with the Hungarian organisers, the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation, the Hungarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Association and the National Event Organisation Agency, on the most important issues.
The occasion gave the international team the opportunity to visit the planned venues. The federation was so satisfied with the organisational arrangements and the sports facilities, also with the plans for the event that one visit was enough to make sure that the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships would be held to an outstanding standard again this year.
At a Budapest meeting in November, the organisers agreed to include the Oceania Olympic qualification competition as part of the European Championships programme, with a separate competition.
Both the European and Hungarian Gymnastics Federations are looking forward to the 2024 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. The organisers are doing their utmost to ensure a successful and unforgettable sporting event, which, as the site visit showed, is in all the right conditions.
