Fanni Pigniczki has heavy days. Our competitor who will participate in the domestic organized rhythmic gymnastics european championship travels from competition to competition while at the same time she fulfills other obligations.

“My plan is that when we reach the pre-EC finish line I would not like to deal with anything else but the domestic organized continent competition. Until this point besides of the trainings and competitions I’d like to take my exams too – said MTK’s personage who after Tokyo won a quota to the Paris Olympics too.

This year will be Fanni Pigniczki’s second EC in Budapest. “In 2017 I could participate in my first adult EC in Budapest, it was a great experience to compete in front of the domestic crowd. Then I was competing with ribbon and ball. I’m expecting the same mood. Of course, many years have passed since then and I’m waiting for this competition from a different position – added the WC bronze medalist class act.

The 40th Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championship will be held between the 22nd and 26th of May at Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarena in organization of Hungarian Gymnastics Federation (MATSZ), Hungarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (MRGSZ),  State Secretariat for Sports in the Ministry of Defence and National Event Organizing Agency (NRÜ).
